Lee Tae Hoon was an assistant coach of Korea Republic national football team. In August 2010, he signed a contract with Cambodia national team. His first contract was ended in July 2012. Mr. Lee was back to be national football team coach in July 2013 while the contract finish in July 2015, but he will continue to lead the national team of Cambodia for his new contract from August 2015 to December 2016. Lee is the head coach of Khmer football national team under 21 and under 23 and national team for several competition such as AFF Suzuki Cup 2010, AFC Challenge Cup 2012, World Cup Qualifier 2014, BIDC Cup 2011, Sea game 2011, Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy(HBT) 2012, BIDC Cup 2013, Sea Games 2013,  Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy(HBT) 2014, AFF Suzuki Cup Qualifier 2014, FIFA World Cup Qualifier 2014 and 2018, Sea Games 2015. He has been moved to live in Cambodia with his family in Phnom Penh.
In 2016, he made Cambodia team to the first time play in AFF Suzuki Cup 2016.
In season 2017, the contract of head change national team ended, Mr. Lee changes to coach Cambodia Team Under 15.
